Australia’s best Pink Floyd Tribute Act - >Echoes of Pink Floyd is pleased to announce an Australia-Wide tour in celebration of the 50th anniversary of Pink Floyd’s debut single. The band, comprising veteran Adelaide-based musicians Daniel Hunter, Jason Miller, Mark Dole, Paul Bindig, Mark MacNab and Matt Goodluck will be taking its spectacular show to multiple venues across the country, to give as many Pink Floyd fans as possible a glimpse of an authentic Pink Floyd concert, played 100% live and with full production.
Echoes of Pink Floyd first formed in Adelaide in 2009. Countless gigs and literally thousands of hours of rehearsal have seen the show grow from humble beginnings to now deliver a full-blown sound and light spectacular, which has previously toured in South Australia and Victoria under the name Experience Floyd.
When asked about the change of name to Echoes of Pink Floyd, founding member Daniel Hunter said, “This was actually the name of the band back when we first conceived it in 2009. Over time we evolved our show and changed our name to differentiate the new full-production show from the old ‘pub’ style band. However, we have now put together an all-new show, which we’re very excited to tour. And with the celebration of 50 years of Pink Floyd, we decided there was no better time to revisit our own roots and return to our original name to pay respect to all those who’ve helped us get where we are today.”
The new show is presented in two distinct parts, designed to cover all the hits that the audience will know and love, plus plenty of deep album cuts and a few surprises for the more seasoned Pink Floyd lovers.
